Welcome to our basic meditation course.
Why is it important to join to this meditation program?
In this course, you are going to develop yourself by learning theoretically and practically your consciousness on your body, your thoughts, your feelings and emotions. Everybody will be individually guided by Bhante Satimanta in this 5 week period with homework related to your daily life. Specially how to develop your concentration, inner energy, expand your vibration and self-healing day by day. This is awesome course to manage your stress, depression and extreme sensitivity.
Bhante Satimanta became a novice monk in 1992 under Most Ven. Dr. Madihe Pannaseeha Mahanayaka Thera (great chief) and Most Ven. Ampitiye Sri Rahula Maha Thera at Bhikkhu Training Center, Maharagama, Sri Lanka. He got his higher ordination in 1997. He started his religious life as a forest monk at Kandy. Later, he moved to Colombo for his studies. While studying he started learning alternative Therapies as a hobby. He is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Homeopathy and an energy healer.
At present, he has completed the following areas of studies:
Royal Pandit Degree, B.A. Degree and Master’s Degree,
Tripitakacharya Degree (Teacher of Buddhist scriptures) with the 1st prize,
Doctor of Acupuncture and Homeopathy diploma under Professor Dr. Sir Anton Jayasooriya at Colombo South Teaching Hospital. He has also practised several Healing methods including “Advance Pranic Healing, Pranic psychotherapy and Celtic Energy Healing”.

To guide Swedish people how to lead a happy and blissful life through meditation and Buddhism. Meditation teaches you good mental practices that can tremendously help you in everyday life. Sweden is known as a country with “Free life, high tax and more suicide”. The freedoms and liberties enjoyed by Swedes have not made them happier people in certain ways. Meditation effectively calms your mind and settles your mood. It helps you realize what is truly important in life and helps you identify what has been going wrong in your life. Buddhist philosophy and meditation help you to find peace, contentment and direction in life. It also transforms your life enabling you to achieve whatever positive goals you may want to achieve. Hence Buddhism and mediation provide solutions to people’s problems and everyone in the twenty first century need to learn about it. So, at the moment Bhante Satimanta lives at Åstorp and traveling different places in Sweden and hold meditation courses and retreats and also deliver the Buddhas message in Europe and he is the president of the Helsingborg Buddhist Association and a committee member of Mång religiösa Förening I Helsingborg and supporting for the peace development among all the religious groups at Helsingborg.
My motto is “When you heal your mind, you heal your body”. Your mentality and emotions affect your internal organs and your entire life. Therefore, your emotional health determines your physical health. I help and guide people to achieve deep levels of concentration. When you reach deeper levels of consciousness through meditation, it rewires your brain.
Meditation makes the mind positive changing or affecting your hormones and the frequency of brain waves known as gamma, beta, alpha, theta and delta. For instance, it reduces the “stress hormone – cortisol” which is an age – accelerating hormone. Meditation also reduces adrenaline while increase the “happy hormones” serotonin and oxytocin. Serotonin improves your mood and gives you a sense of well-being, also increases DHEA which is known as the “longevity molecule”, also creates GABA (gamma aminobutyric acid) making you feel calm, also increases endorphins giving the body a “natural high”, also increases the growth hormone and melatonin which is known as the “sleep molecule”.
Meditation decreases the higher frequency of brain waves to a lower frequency resulting in an increased level of ability to have more time between thoughts. This activates different centres in the brain and the slower wavelengths allow a person to have more time to be selective of one’s thoughts. Thus, these changes in the hormone levels and the frequency of brain waves created during meditation can change your body and thereby your life. Hence when you train your mind positively it helps you cope with sadness, anger and results in an overall better immune system.
